Raymond DeBono is a Consultant Plastic and Reconstructive Surgeon at the University Hospital of North Durham, South Tyneside District Hospital, the City Hospitals Sunderland  and the Queen Elizabeth Hospital Gateshead, and an Honorary Senior Lecturer at the School of Biological and Biomedical Sciences, Durham University.

His private practice is based in the North East of England, at BUPA Hospital Washington and the Newcastle Nuffield Hospital.
